When my best friend informed me of a online shopping store for wedding accessories and supplies that could save us a little on the wedding expenses, I thought I’d give it a try. It’s true, reasonable prices and many accessories to choose from starting with wedding invitations right down to wedding favor gifts. I was surprised at all the great groomsmen gifts and bridemaids gifts they carry, as well as so many styles of wedding accessories for both ceremonies and receptions. Needless to say, that’s where I did all my shopping for the wedding decorations and supplies.
Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. First I ordered winter wonderland wedding bulletins to use as our wedding invitations. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. Not only did each piece match, but the price was more than reasonable. I read about how now that a lot of churches don’t allow petals to be thrown at the bride and groom at the ceremony, that many couples are having the guests blow bubbles instead. So I ordered bottles of bubbles from this online shopping site I’m using and they also send you little bubble cards for each bottle.
The lovely accessories I ordered were unbelievable. I bought all the gifts for the entire wedding party from there, including gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy. My fiance was happy that they had so many cool best groomsmen gifts ideas for him to choose from.
A mug was the choice for the groomsman favors that he choice and each mug said groomsman on it. Now we had a groomsman gift, gifts for my bridesmaids and everyone that was in our ceremony, so now, I needed to concentrate on what to buy for our guests. There were so many wonderful gift ideas for a winter wedding to give to our guests. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. The votive candles came in adorable little wedding favor boxes with a lovely silver thank you tag attached.
The place card holders I chose were beautiful little snow ornaments that the guests can take home as a little momento. They had it all, winter themed champagne glasses and serving set and a funny winter wedding cake topper too. Since the cake topper I chose was one with the bride and groom on skis, I decided to make it look authentic by having the baker design the top layer of our cake as a mountain of snow. Our wedding cake was confection perfection and I wanted as many pictures of it as I could get for our beautiful winter wedding album. Right after we took care of the cake cutting, and my brother in law toasted us, we stepped out on the dance floor for our first dance together as husband and wife. I really felt like a princess in some kind of dream world while we glided across the floor, with everyone watching.
This reception was perfect, from the beginning to the end and all of our guests truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. The men in our wedding party really liked the wedding groomsmen gifts we had for them and my bridesmaids thanked me for theirs too. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
