A friend of mine told me about a wedding website that had fantastic wedding accessories and reception supplies at a great low cost, so we checked it out. She was right, they had everything from wedding invitations to wedding favors and none of it was really expensive. Along with all the super wedding accessories they also carry groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts. Naturally, after getting a look at their inventory, I made the decision to order all my needed wedding supplies and decorations at their online store.
Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. I ordered very decorative winter wedding bulletins to send out as invitations. While I was browsing through the flower basket and ring pillow selection, I discovered a great deal on a five piece set with a wedding guest book and pen, wedding garter and the flower girl basket and ring pillow. All the pieces matched and I was really surprised at the total cost of the set, it was so much lower than I would expect. I know, after reading a few wedding articles, that many churches won’t allow the tossing of petals for the bride and grooms departure and many couples have chosen bubbles to be blown as they exit the ceremony. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
You should see all the accessories I was able to get for our reception. We also ordered our gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl, ring boy and the rest of the wedding party. With all the groomsman gifts that my fiance had to choose from, it was hard for him to make up his mind.
The groomsman favors of his choosing were glass mugs that had the word groomsman printed on the mug. Now we had a cheap groomsman gift, gifts for my bridesmaids and everyone that was in our ceremony, so now, I needed to concentrate on what to buy for our guests. There were an awful lot of winter wonderland wedding favors to choose from for our reception. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. The votive candles came in adorable little wedding favor boxes with a lovely silver thank you tag attached.
The place card holders I chose were beautiful little snow ornaments that the guests can take home as a little momento. They had it all, winter themed champagne glasses and serving set and a funny winter wedding cake topper too. I asked the baker to turn our top layer of the wedding cake into a ski slope, since the topper I picked was of a bride and groom on skis. I had many pictures of our wedding cake taken for my winter themed wedding picture album, it was so adorable. Right after we took care of the cake cutting, and my brother in law toasted us, we stepped out on the dance floor for our first dance together as husband and wife. I really felt like a princess in some kind of dream world while we glided across the floor, with everyone watching.
This reception was perfect, from the beginning to the end and all of our guests truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. We also got quite a few compliments from our wedding guests about the decorations and the lovely wedding favors they received.
