A few weeks ago I went to a co-workers wedding event and reception.  It was absolutely gorgeous and so was the bride.  I haven’t attended a wedding as astonishing as this ever.  Their bridal ceremony was right out of a fairy-tale of Cinderella and Prince Charming.  Only while not the appalling stepmother and dog unattractive stepsisters.  The brides glass slippers finished the fairytale wedding ensemble.   The church was embellished fantastically for the observance.  They had enormous arrangements of red and white roses and candles lit up all round the church.   They also had white tulle draped across every pew by the aisle and a long red carpet runner leading up to the altar.  The ceremony had everything a princess might need to make her wedding day extra special.  As we followed the beautiful couple outside we threw pink and white rose petals to would like them well.  Outside was a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to move them to the reception.  I felt like I was really in a authentic live fairy tale.  The reception was quite incredible too.  There was heaps of flowers and reception tables that glittered from all the crystal and silver that they had laid out. 

On the tables were little carriages used as placecard holders for every and every guest. Every reception table had exquisite castle shaped candle holders at each table setting.  Their centerpieces were quite unique as well.  There were floating candles in massive acrylic bowls enclosed by flower bouquets.  Everything they had was noteworthy.  As wedding party favors the happy couple had all sorts of wine favor.  A lot of of the a small gift were Wine Favors For Wedding and others Wine For Wedding Favors.  As a many thanks gift I used to be given a wine stopper wedding favor.  My party favors wine stopper was heart shaped and others received stoppers with calla lilies on top.  I never thought of wine wedding favors beforehand.  All the attendees appeared true pleased with their very little thank you gifts.  I never thought bottle stoppers came in so many different styles.  A companion of mine was given a distinctive looking glass wine wedding favor with a ornamental label.  There were even some very decorative wine glasses given out for some of the guests.  This wedding reception was definitely calculatedly out.  They did a great job arranging the whole lot from caterers to lovely stoppers and wine bottle favor.

I’m designing my very own wedding right now.  I hope I’m in a position to pull off as good a ceremony and reception as they did.

Things sure have changed since my wedding day, especially the fantastic accessories and reception supplies available. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.

An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. Autumn is the best season for me and the best time to have a wedding, with it’s colorful background as your main motif. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. It seems like a great way to escape for all the friends and family. You can choose from a terrific new favor selection – they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.

In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They’re really quite unique looking. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. She ordered quite a few wedding accessories online that will go perfectly with the country western theme. She ordered delightful new party favors for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.

Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. Our daughter’s wedding was so much fun, that I’m considering have a country western renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary.

Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Since we had the beauty of nature all around us, it wasn’t too expensive to decorate. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

I wasn’t really sure where to start, so I shopped around for some much needed suggestions. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

We had canopies arranged for our reception and barring bad weather, planned to be wed under a lovely trellis. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The only way you could tell that the flowers were artificial, was by touch, they were beautiful. The wedding was easier than I originally thought it would be, but there were a lot of things to consider. You have to make sure your cake is safe from the summer sun, make sure you have citronella candles at your reception and that your tent has nearby rest room areas. [Summer weddings are wonderful, but the heat can wreak havoc on your wedding cake.

I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding favor. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. They put our faces on our cake topper, and all I had to do was send them a photo of me and my fiance. How could I ask for a better wedding keepsake than that? Everyone at the reception had something to say about how unique it was. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. A lot of good things were said about our wedding ceremony and everyone said they had a fantastic time at the reception. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. I decided to go with the last, but not least of the wedding theme ideas, and have a fairy tale ceremony and reception. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So my decision was made. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Then I started choosing my wedding and reception accessories and supplies. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed wedding reception favor in for our guests. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. I have to admit, it was quite special. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed wedding gifts too. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.

I wanted a fairy tale wedding and reception.

My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.

Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I have to admit, it was quite special. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed wedding favor ideas too. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
